Our Entry Visa (‘X’ Visa) service is designed for individuals of Indian origin, spouses, children of Indian citizens, or persons of Indian origin, along with specific purposes as determined by the Mission/Consulate. Registration with FRRO/FRO is mandatory for stays exceeding 6 months.
Who can benefit from our Entry Visa service?
- Persons of Indian origin (X-1).
- Spouses and children of Indian nationals or persons of Indian origin (X-1).
- Applicants joining Auroville Foundation / Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Puducherry / Missionaries of Charity, Kolkata / approved organizations, temples, or foreign Buddhist monks contributing to charitable work (X-2).
- Foreign property owners in India (X-Misc).
Please note that entry visa applications for voluntary work in NGOs are not eligible and will be rejected.
Required documents include:
- Valid passport with a minimum validity of 6 months and at least two blank pages.
- One photograph meeting specified requirements.
- Duly signed printout of the online application form.
- Additional documents based on applicant category:
- For persons of Indian origin: Surrender Certificate or cancelled Indian passport.
- For spouses of Indian nationals: Marriage certificate and relevant passports or OCI card.
- For minor children: Birth certificate, parents' marriage certificate, and consent letter (if applicable).
- For individuals joining specific organizations: Official invitation letter from the respective organization in its original sealed envelope.
- For property owners: Letter from the Reserve Bank of India granting permission to acquire property and proof of ownership.
